Our 7 year Anniversary trip to WDW
This Past trip was mine and my husbands 7 year anniversary trip!! 7 years?!?!? Holy Cow does time fly when you're having fun!
We. dropped the kids off at my sisters. house and took off! We started our 8 hour drive to Florida!
We checked into our campsite. at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort around noon! We made record time getting there, but of course we didn't have the littles with us, so that meant less bathroom breaks etc.
Once we got our tent pitched, we had some company show up. Our friend Brandi who is a Disney local, many on Tiktok know her as Butterflymom97, showed up and visited! We then rode with her in her new convertible over to Disney's Polynesian Resort and met up with another Tiktok friend the3.mouseketeers aka Sara, her wife Renee and their son Jacob, who is always a treat! We even got lei'd. We sat with them at the Poly's pool and had a great time, before heading to Captain Cook's to grab a bite to eat!
After our time at the Poly we rode back over to our campsite, in time to meet our other friend Tristan, known as Uspartyco. on Tiktok. He brought his own tent and stayed with us for a few nights!
Tristan, Josh and I then hit the pool for a while, until Tristan got pegged in the head with a ball. At that point we got out and went on an adventure to find dinner! The snack. bar at the pool closed at 6, so that was out! We decided we were going to try something we created called MickeyEats like door dash, but instead someone dashes you food from the Disney Parks. Totally doesn't exist, but it was funny any ways! So basically Josh and I didn't have Magic Kingdom park tickets or reservations, but wanted. Casey's Corner. We took the monorail over to the park, and sat out front. We ended up Mobile Ordering and Tristan went into the park to get the food for us! He came back out just in time to watch fireworks with us from the from of the train station! What an awesome evening! Then it was back to the. campsite and time for bed before the parks in the morning!
The next morning, we woke up bright and early to head to Hollywood Studios, or as I still like to call it MGM. I definitely miss the sorcerer hat out front! I was determined to FINALLY ride Rise of the Resistance, since every other time we had been there it was on virtual queue and I was never able to get a boarding group! I booked my DAS selection for Rise and then we headed over to the Frozen Sing-a-long. I of course yelled puddle and got a tsk tsk from Eric. After singing my heart out, we hit up a popcorn stand, and to my surprise I FINALLY got my hands on the 50th Mickey popcorn bucket!
Rise of the Resistance was everything I was hoping for and then some! It was very immersive! totally a great queue, fantastic story line and the execution of the ride overall was amazing! I was nervous that I would be slightly nauseous from motion sickness, but alas, I was fine!Best Part of it I got to see BOTH of my boyfriends aka Poe Cameron and Kylo Ren! We then headed over to Ronto Roasters and grabbed lunch!
Ronto Roasters has a very limited menu. They are a quick service location that is only open until 3pm. We got the Ronto Roasters. Josh got one with slaw, I got one without as I am not a fan of slaw in general, but galactic slaw, no thank you! We added on some Kyryll Pork Rinds and a Tattooine Sunset to sip on. The Ronto wrap was SUPERB, and the pork rinds. were an excellent addition! The Tattooine Sunset was good, but a little on the sweet side, and in my personal opinion, it doesn't compliment the wrap well. Seating was a bit challenging, but seeing that its such a hot item to get for a good value, we could see why it was so busy! They also provide a breakfast version with egg.
After we let our food settle for a few moments, we headed over to Toy Story Mania. Josh of course always beats my score, even though I always bust my butt trying so hard to win! After Mania, We went and got some character hugs starting with Pluto!! We. also made time to see Sorcerer Mickey and Minnie! We then made out way down Sunset Blvd towards Tower if Terror. Josh didn't ride Tower, he's terrified of heights and free falling so naturally he won't ride. After Tower, we ventured to Trolley Car Cafe, which is more commonly known as Starbucks lol.
After Starbucks, we went on a picnic with Mickey and Minnie, and even got matching phone cases! I may miss The Great Movie Ride but, Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway is a super cute and enjoyable ride! Next it was time to go do a Kessel Run, so we were back off to Galaxies Edge.
Once back on Batuu, we boarded the Millennium Falcon. We took park in a spice run, and even walked away earning some credits! After this sweet victory, we headed over to Oga's Cantina, for some libations! Leaving Oga's we were still hungry and were looking for some rations, so we stopped over at Docking Bay 7, and picked up a few more Ronto Wraps to consume once we got back to the tent.
This ended our day at Hollywood Studios. We made it back to the tent in time, before the bottom dropped out and it rained! Apparently it was a Lightening Storm, which was really cool to watch! Also was a great way to go to sleep! It was so relaxing!
Onto the next day!!
The next morning, man was the campgrounds wet!! We got up bright and early so I could get in the virtual queue for Cosmic Rewind! We were put in boarding group 73! We then showered and headed out to Epcot!
We got into Epcot, and of course it was Food and Wine Festival, so that's always exciting for us! We headed towards The Seas Pavilion. even though we didn't have the kids we jumped onto the Nemo ride! Its totally adorable and a must do! after you de-board the ride, there is an aquarium! We stopped to see all the things our aquarium and home doesn't have, which was manatees and dolphins. after lingering there for a moment we headed over to see my favorite purple dragon Figment!!!
After Figment, we journeyed up to the France Pavilion to visit our favorite Chef and rat Remy! Josh had never ridden Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, he though it was cute, but he said eh. Can't please them all I guess. Once we got off the ride, our boarding group was called for Guardians! IT WAS FINALLY TIME!!!
We loved Guardians. After taking some GREAT advice from The Beard, Cole, Bippidi.boppidi.beard himself, we requested row 9 and we even got September! Can you say perfect first experience?!?!? The queue was really well done as well. Can't wait to return and ride this again!!
~ The Fry Basket: Fry Flight and Key Lime Lager
~ Flavors from Fire: Smoked Corn Beef
~Saucy Swanky Swine: Barbecued Pork Rinds with Pimento Cheese (shown)
~China: Mongolian Beef Bao Bun
~Greece: Griddled Cheese
and for completing Emile's Fromage Montage we got a Strawberry Cheesecake dessert in a collectible cup!
We also grabbed our usuals, a Frozen viking coffee, a moonshine sour and as turkey leg.
Epcot Festivals also tend to bring scavenger hunts!! Food and Wine you hunt for Remy! For $9.99 you can get a map, with the stickers! You then go around world showcase in search for Remy! Many of them are on the booths for festival foods, but some are hidden within the pavilion! Yes this is geared at children, but adults can totally participate. Once you complete the hunt, you can return to one of the designated retail shops, you can redeem it for one of four cups! We chose the Remy cup naturally!
We then met back up with Tristan. Tristan and I rode Soarin while Josh took a power nap and bathroom break. We then hopped on Living with the Land and earned a cool experience. While boarding our boat, it started thundering and lightening, which led to a cool ride through the greenhouses!! The rain continued for about an hour, at which point Josh and I headed back to the campsite, because they canceled Harmonius, so of course I STILL haven't seen it!

Back at the campsite the lightening became more intense. We sat up listening to it, before I eventually crashed out.
The next morning we slept in for the first time on this trip! We then woke up and went to our resort pool! We spent the vast majority of the day there. We ordered lunch from the snack bar. Meadow's Nachos were really good and for $8 it was easily sharable! We ended up leaving the pool around dinner time, when everyone was coming home from the parks. We got dressed and headed to Publix to pick up dinner, and dessert. We fell asleep to the sound of the rain yet again.
Our last day, we woke up, took down the tent and showered. We headed over to the Riviera for Breakfast at Topolino's Terrace. We THOROUGHLY enjoy breakfast at Topolino's! I always get the Little Dippers and he always get s the Steak! Having the characters back makes it even more fun. After Breakfast we hit up the Character Warehouse before heading home to our kiddos!!
This trip was FANTASTIC and a much needed break from reality and the kids, even though we love them sooo much! We can't wait til next time! So far the next time we plan to be back in Disney is October!! We will See y'all real soon!!
Look out for the next adventures coming soon!
